Fans, assemble. The Middle East Film & Comic Con is coming to Abu Dhabi in March 2022 and it has announced Nathalie Emmanuel as its first celebrity guest.
The star of Fast & Furious and Game of Thrones will be attending the highly anticipated event in Abu Dhabi, and is said to be participating in an exclusive meet-and-greet.
Nathalie promises to be one of many big names coming to Comic Con 2022, which will run from Thursday March 3 to Saturday March 5 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre – but we’ll have to wait just a bit longer for more A-list attendees. Organisers have teased guests from the big screen and leading streaming services, including Netflix.
“We have had the pleasure of delighting our visitors over the past decade by offering the chance to meet some of the world’s leading names in the industry, which has cemented our loyal follower base,” said Show Director Michael Lamprecht. “We are honoured to be welcoming back Marvel, and to host Nathalie Emmanuel as the first of what will be a host of globally renowned celebrities at this year’s edition of the event. This level of attendance seen right off the bat, signifies the growth of the event and its popularity as we look ahead to 2022.”
The F9 star joins an impressive list of international celebrities who have previously attended the event. They include some of her fellow GoT cast members, like Jason Momoa, Iwan Rheon and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, along with Gillian Anderson, Ezra Miller, Benedict Wong and William Shatner.
We highly recommend you start working on your costume now because the 2022 MEFCC is going to be chock full of exciting things to do, such as VIP meet-and-greets, insider talks and interviews. Organisers are promising that this will be the best year yet, so dress to impress.
The convention, which is supported by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), is the largest of its kind in the region, and Comic Con fans have not had a chance to cosplay and get together since early 2020 so MEFCC 2022 will be a welcome reunion for many.
